About this desk

About FreqDesk: an independent reference publication on open-source trading bots, its editorial line and how to send corrections.

About this desk

FreqDesk is an independent publication about open-source trading bots. It exists because the answers to ordinary questions — how a strategy file is structured, what a config field decides, why a first run fails — were scattered across wikis, chat logs and issue threads, and a reader with a terminal deserved one place that took notes properly.

Editorial line

Who writes here

A systems engineer who has run self-hosted bots since the freqtrade of half a decade ago, and who believes the most useful thing a reference can do is show its work. Corrections are read weekly and applied with a dated note on the relevant page.
